Why visit Ebenezer Maasai Children Center?
Every year we welcome up to 20+ visitors to Ebenezer Maasai Children Center in Ngorongoro- Arusha, Tanzania however we will be happy to welcome more than that. This is very few visitors to our campus and we really welcome everyone to our school and see what happen here. Ebenezer Maasai Children Center can arrange visitors’ safe, affordable accommodation from Ngorongor hostel for you. Our dedicated Visitors Team will assist with your personal itinerary and ensure that you have an experience like no other. A bonus of course is that Ngorongoro is one of the most amazing tourist destinations in the world the place where Ebenezer Maasai Children Center is operating.
All visitors are encouraged to take part in the day-to-day life at Ebenezer Maasai Children Center. A member of our Visitors team will accompany you as you participate in a school-based itinerary offering a variety of activities – whilst not impacting the day-to-day education of our students
- Tour of the three Campuses.
- Interactive class visits to art, music, PE or library.
- Sample traditional Tanzanian lunch with our students and staff.
- Attend a weekly assembly (on specific days only) and watch dance and music performances.
- Visit one of our student’s homes with a staff member to facilitate this.
- Tour of Boarding Campus accompanied by a staff member to tell you all about our boarding programme.
Home visits are a once in a lifetime experience, giving you the opportunity to see and experience firsthand the difference Ebenezer Maasai Children Center has on the lives of our Children/students, their families and the wider community. Be sure to let us know if you sponsor a Child/student so you can visit their home. Please remember, you will be accompanied by a trained staff member of Ebenezer Maasai Children Center on your home visit.
Ebenezer Maasai Children Center can arrange accommodation with en-suite facilities for visitors who participate in a school-based itinerary. Although accommodation is available on the weekends and public holidays, there are no students on campus at this time and staffing is limited. Therefore, to maximise your visit and truly experience life at Ebenezer Maasai Children Center we encourage you to arrange your visit during weekdays. We are also more than happy to advise you about alternative accommodation in Ngorongoro. After making arrangements with our Visitors team you will receive a draft itinerary that will be tailored to the length and nature of your visit. A maximum stay at Ebeneza maasai children center is seven nights; most people stay three nights.

How to make a visit
If you are thinking of planning a visit to Ebenezer Maasai Children Center and want to stay for a few days, contact our Visitors team. It’s good to plan 3-6 months in advance.
If you are already in Arusha, you can arrange a visit too. Contact the Visitors team to let them know when you’d like to drop in. The school is open Monday to Sunday, 8.30am-5.00pm. Check our school term times and public holidays on our Academic Calendar however all children are available at center all the time.
The school can arrange a personalized itinerary of activities while you’re here. All visitors are required to read our Code of Conduct and Personal Communications Policy and sign a document on arrival to say you have read and agree to abide by them.
Our Child Protection Policy
The center and the school have a zero tolerance policy regarding child abuse and whilst undertaking school-based activities at Ebenezer Maasai Children Center you will be accompanied by a staff member at all times. Below are our Child Protection Code of Conduct and Personal Communications Policy. You will be asked to sign an acknowledgement that you have read and understood these upon arrival at the school.
